@John..
1. only a Softwareupd
2. rename... if you want you can also have the LanguageFile and translate in Portuguese (see Attachment)
3. Fly201 - 35€ - direct Import from China - housing needs to be reworked, the unit will overheat
4. ToDo - List
Inside IPTV Categorie 5 SubCategories (extra) with 10 m3u Files (50 m3u Files more) -
Cache / Buffer can be set for each m3u-file
Multilanguage - who wants to can translate the file in the Attachment, and I build it into the software

Cheers Gerhard

I see. So no need to update the IPTVxtra files on the player, right?
Every last stream on every playlist doesn't have a number. Have you found a way to fix that strange thing on the playlists?
pyro1000 wrote:2. rename... if you want you can also have the LanguageFile and translate in Portuguese (see Attachment)

I'm not looking for a translation.
I've never believed in software translations.
For me, software exists in one single language: English.
I'll take a look at the language file to see if there is anything in English that needs to be polished.
pyro1000 wrote:3. Fly201 - 35€ - direct Import from China - housing needs to be reworked, the unit will overheat

35€ is a very decent price.
Do you think the seller has more units for that price? Can you link me to the seller?
About the overheating, does that happen even without internal hdd and with wifi disconnected?
You see, I'm looking for a player that can run AMP r8 without wifi or internal hdd for my father, and I can't go higher than 45/50€.
Farvoice told me that any player based on Realtek 1073 will do.
So, if anyone has any suggestion I will be very grateful.
Cheers

Securityupdate - changes in the Version 4.1.6

the activation of MOS3-Authorization is now supported (FTP and WEB Password)
I advise everyone to enable MOS3-Authorization
(I had a Trojan on my box, only a clean install with boot code had helped)

What do you mean? Do you mean that on newly created streams the &live=1 will automatically be appear in the URL string?
But we will be able to manually remove the &live=1 from our stream URLs, right?
Cheers

jop, most rtmp-streams must have live=1
with most other rtmp-streams, it does not matter, they work just as well
but you can remove this with the edit-Funktion in the StreamGrabber

Can you show a picture of the EPG working?

I've just implemented 'Authorization' on my player.
Took me more than 10 minutes to figure out that 'Authorization' is a moS3 module that has to be installed.
Just open your media player's IP address on your web browser (moS3), go to modules and find 'Authorization' module. Click on it's name and choose install.
Only then you will see 'Authorization' in the 'More...' section as documented on pyro1000's post.

@Gerhard,
Can you post a picture of the EPG in action?
My IPTV ISP sends the EPG to the set top boxes as an XML file.
But I can't watch my ISP's IPTV streams (protected). So using their XML doesn't make sense, right?

Also, the 'IPTV and WebRadio for POHD7317 - V 4.1.7' software now has a 'Create Sub-Category' button.
But the button is permanently not available and grayed out.
How can I create new sub-categories with this new button? How does it become clickable?

And, Gerhard, don't take this in a wrong way because I have mentioned this on more than 3 or 4 occasions, and I do appreciate your effort a lot but...I swear I have never seen a software with a name as big as 'IPTV and WebRadio for POHD7317'.
Couldn't you simply call it 'IPTVxtra Editor' or 'IPTVxtra GUI' or 'IPTVxtra Client' or something similar?
It sure would save us a lot of typing when we write it's name.
Come on, don't get angry at me because of this and think about it.
Cheers mate

do you have a link to the XML - send it to me via PM - i wont check

this part of the program is not 100% finished yet - until the next update

 IPTVxtra GUI its a good name ;)

pyro1000 wrote:do you have a link to the XML - send it to me via PM - i wont check

I don't have the XML.
You see, my TV provider uses Microsoft MediaRoom which has strong DRM features.
The streams are broadcast to my set-top-box with an encryption that no one seems to have broken so far.
Still, I went to check for myself. So I made a port mirror on the switch port that connects to my STB and this way I was able to sniff the traffic between the ISP and the box using Wireshark.
When I change channels on the box, I can see that the ISP sends an XML file to the box.
Talking in forums, some people told me that the XML file is the next channel's EPG being sent to the box.
As said, I can see that Wireshark says that the XML was sent to the box but this way I don't believe I can save this file to my PC.
Do you think there's a way to do it? To save the file on my PC?
But even if I ever can save the file, for what use?
If there was a way to watch on the o!play the streams sent by my ISP to the box...
Do you think there's a way?
It never made sense to me why they protect the streams. Heck, I'm paying for the streams in the 1st place. :?

Ok, got it.

pyro1000 wrote:  IPTVxtra GUI its a good name ;)

Aha! I see I caught your attention now.
And I'm sure there are a lot of even nicer names.
Maybe other folks here can give you more suggestions. ;)
