it's very simple - nothing to install ( I have done it in AMP_r8_hd2 firmware)
you have to edit menu.rss file ( I prefer using vi commands)
vi /usr/local/bin/scripts/menu.rss and then add the following text :

Metafeeds

then after you will find Metafeeds in On-Line menu==> On-Line services

I you have your Metafeeds' account , you can add it in menu.rss as well :
vi /usr/local/bin/scripts/menu.rss and then add the following text :

My Favorites

Replace YOURUSERNAME with your Metafeeds' user name

That's it
PBO (BC27), amp_r8_hd2 (mos3), skin Brown +SSD 8Gb(ntfs,swap,ext3)
PBO(BC27), P70R2(BCN)+mos3, SSD 8Gb(ntfs,ext3, swap)

@jurijz
Thanks a lot for your detailed reply :).
Do you know if those changes to the menu.rss are permanent?
Like, when you shutdown your player and then power it back on, do you still have the Metafeeds item in the Online Services?
If not, is there anything we need to do about it to make it permanent?
Cheers

/usr/local/etc/mos/services stop
cp -a /usr/local/bin/scripts/menu.rss /usr/local/etc/dvdplayer/savedrss/scripts/menu.rss
/usr/local/etc/mos/services start

Farvoice, is this to make changes permanent or is this needed regardless of changes being permanent or not?

@FarVoice
thanks for useful info - just learn something new about amp_r8_hd2 firmware.
actually, I didn't make permanent changes like you had mentioned above and had no problems to use Metafeeds even after restarting player

Sorry, folks, I don't get it.

I can't edit /usr/local/bin/scripts/menu.rss because /usr/local/bin/ is mounted as read-only (squashfs).

Does this work only with the HD2 flavour and not with POHD?

You will have to umount it to be able to edit.
It works fine with POHD.
Sorry I can't help you much more.
Try to find the IPTVLIST topic and run it on google translator.
I'm sure you'll find all the info you need.
