Attention!!! Install on players with bootcode 18 and above only!

Another leak - test build for HD2 firmware version 1.12.04...

Thanks Jarre for the adaptation for installing on R1/R3, enable youtube and Opera, disable checks off the internal drive connection.
New:
Fixed sorting on network drives on computers under Windows, now sorting by name: 1-9, A-Z (english), А-Я (russian).
Interface change - show pics when connecting USB devices, change style of screensaver.
Include O! Direct.

Nothing significant is no longer detected.

UPD 28.11.2010 Firmware with changes from Farvoice with the already built-in software to reconfigure to work with R1/R3 RC's, disable checking the internal HDD in the Web interface of BT here, a copy is here.

Install went fine.

Looking around, unable to figure out how to sort the Network Device, it still shows up by Date Added and not alphabetical =\ When plugging in the USB Drive a C: folder still showed up, for whatever reason. I could be missing the correct way to sort it, I did not install the O!Direct given I am not on a Win based machine, tried with WINE with no luck.

Going to setup Win7 VM Box and install the O!Direct on that and see how it goes. I will update with more when I find out more, as far a functionality, seems the same as the previous builds. Not noticing much a difference, other then possibly speed increase.

Are there any instructions on how to use the O!Play direct? I have the Windows VM box setup on my network with the O!Direct installed, but its not finding the device. Feel like I am missing something important.

Thank you.

Finds my mac on the LAN much faster than previous versions, but like early versions of samba on R1, HD2's drives always report 0k available.

Nice to have RSS again, but strangely news items are truncated, sometimes mid-word.

My mouse, although detected, no longer works in Opera.

More testing....

This is exactly what I need! Unfortunately, I run Linux and my wife runs W7 x64. I find it insane that they did not make it for x64 architecture. Do you by chance know the command lines to send a file to the O!Play, been searching for the past hour trying to figure it out, but no luck. Even tried running it with Compatibility mode for XP, still no luck there.

Be nice to know how to send a file manually, then I can easily cook up a script to make it work on Linux and any version of Windows. Thanks!

Yea, pain in the butt. Trying to sniff the network to see if I can find the commands being sent, but that is being a pain. Maybe a user manual will get leaked soon, going to continue to do some snooping around and hopefully find something :)

Update
Well yea, after some more investigation (namely shutting down the VM box while it was running) apparently the O!Play direct sets up a NAS via the computer, so yea. I may setup the VM on my server and just Remote Desktop into it and control it that way, should be a good compromise for now.
