I get the File not found error trying to update using the menu, and i tried almost all but the telnet command, cause I'm afraid of bricking my box.

The procedure is the same, reset method (bootcode 18 or higher) or soft reset method (telnet): use either method to load new modded firmware or to return to "official" Asus firmware.

every bit of information is scattered through +40!!! pages of forum.. and some tens of threads.. really guys, I don't think anybody can find anything here.
and I suppose some info is translated with google translate or something, cause sometimes i understand the words but the phrase has no meaning at all.
can you organize a little your info? a sticky containing the steps from original FW to the modded one and the steps from HD2 1.12.06 rev3.1 to HD2 1.12.06 rev3.2, leave the helpful comments to other threads and update only with tips & tricks
