Problem with "amp_r8_pohd" utf8 mounts

I would like to confirm that there is a problem with the utf8 mounts. I am trying to mount a folder containing chinese characters, but the characters do not show.
I am able to access the folder, but the contents inside (files with chinese characters) are also invisible.
The mount was made using the Mount daemon, and the share mounted is on a NAS. The protocol used was "cifs".
