Install pohd7317 GUI Firmware on ASUS O'play HDP-R3

Hello everybody,

I'm user of new ASUS O'play HDP-R3, which fatory bootcode is 23.x.x.x, I'm using it's composite video output because my TV is not HD ready and have no HDMI input.

I tryed to install firmware from https://moservices.googlecode.com/files/amp_r9_pohd.zip via menu System --> Update from USB stick, but I've got a message "no update image file". I unziped install.img file to "root" directory of my FAT32 formatted USB stick (top of the file system, not directory). What could be reason fo this ? Do I have to beat bootcode some other way ? I didn't dare to try with poweroff, pressing reset button and power on procedure. Should I do this way ?

That's the only reliable way of doing it.

So the correct procedure should be: power off player (disconnect DC cable), plug in USB stick, press/hold reset button, power on player and keep reset button pressed for about 15 seconds. Upgrade should start automaticaly. Is this correct ?
