I tried different AMP firmware.
Here are my EXP.

Video = okay
Audio = okay
Errors with Pause/Resume and fast skip forward/rewind (Picture freezes and audio continues)

2) using AMP Firmware_r10_hd2
Video = okay
Audio = Audio and Video asynchron (maybe 1 sec.)
No Problems with Pause/Resume and fast skip forward/rewind

3) using AMP Firmware_r10_icon
Video = okay
Audio = Audio and Video asynchron (maybe 1 sec.)
No Problems with Pause/Resume and fast skip forward/rewind

4) using AMP Firmware_r11_icon
Video = okay
Audio = Audio and Video asynchron (maybe 1 sec.)
No Problems with Pause/Resume and fast skip forward/rewind

What can i do to fix the Problems with the Audio asynchron ???

I tried all possible Audio and Video settings at each AMP Firmware.
I couldnt get the Audio synchron.

THX for Helping

Can you please tell us details about the source?
Are you using a sata/usb external hdd attached to the player?
Or are you reading your source from the network LAN? If LAN, did you use NFS or CIFS (windows) or DLNA/UPNP?
Is it an MP4 or an MKV? What audio/video codecs were used on that source? Try running the media file through a program such as MediaInfo and post it's output here.
Cheers

I don't see anything wrong with it. It's a regular MP4 file with AVC+AAC content.
Have you tried other files with different container and different codecs?
Also do you have another USB pendisk that you can try?
Have you check that USB pendisk read speed to see if it can handle it?
I have a 2 year old 16GB USB pendisk that looks like a turtle and it just can't handle the read speeds that a nowadays video file needs.
Other than that I am clueless. Maybe someone else can pop in the conversation and give you a hand.

Sorry.
My mistake.
I use an 2 TB external USB Harddisk.

I figured out that I had the Audio/Video sync issues only with MP4 files.
With other files (avi, mpeg) is everything okay.

Whats the mistake to playing mp4 files ?

Good thing you noticed that the problem is only MP4 related.
You can try to demux it's content and remux it. Sometimes muxing engines have small bugs that don't affect all players. The muxing engine used to mux that multimedia file might have one of those small bugs and the bug may only affect our Realtek-based players. I think it's worth trying.
At least that way we will know if our players really do have issues with MP4 files on AMP r11.
I have a couple of MP4 files myself and I could test them on AMP r11 but I just can't find them anywhere :(

I always use mkvmerge (from mkvtoolnix) to remux MKV files in case I need to add audio/subs.
And I have used MP4box (from GPAC) to remux a couple of MP4 files to add audio/subs in the past. I can't remember any issues when I played those files but I was still only using AMP r7 or r8.

What I have noticed is issues when playing some MOV files that I have.
I will post a new topic on that issue.
Cheers

Hey.

At Weekend I tried something with my HDP-R1.
I installed AMP_r11 again. With the same Audio/Video sync issues.
So I reinstalled AMP_r10_icon.
Yesterday I watched a Movie (MP4) with Audio from my AV-Receiver.
I figured out, that there is NO Audio/Video sync issues.

With Audio from my TV (Samsung Series 6 Class 6500) the Audio/Video sync issues already exits.

HDP-R1 to Samsung-TV with HDMI
HDP-R1 to AV-Receiver with Toslink

Could the HDMI Wire the Reason for the Audio/Video sync issues???

Let me get this straight.
On AMP r10 with iconBIT and HD2 skins playing an MP4 source:
- sound from TV via HDMI -> has sync issues
- sound from AV/Receiver via Toslink -> does NOT have sync issues

On AMP r10 with POHD skin there are NO sync issues, right?
I've got a couple of questions for you:
- why don't you use AMP r11 with POHD skin? Apparently POHD doesn't cause you sync issues and this way you would be on the latest firmware.
- have you tried with MKV files? You said avi and mpeg files had no issues but you didn't mention MKV container.

Let me tell you that I remux most of the AVI/MP4 files to MKV because that seems to be the most popular container out there. Since it is the most popular it can be buggy but the developers will always want to fix issues with the most popular. MP4 is also popular but not even near to MKV's popularity.

The reason why you have sync issues on iconBIT/HD2 skins via HDMI remains a mystery to me. Someone else needs to jump here to try and solve this. I simply don't know how to help you and I am just trying to make all evidence visible for anybody else that jumps into this topic ;).
Maybe Farvoice or Pokrass or Virtual can give you a hand.

Hey john3voltas !

Thx for helping me.

UPDATE from yesterday:
We watched 2 Movies (MP4 with AMP_r10_icon) with sounf drom AV/Receiver. We had the Audio/Video sync issues again.

I am speechless. :?:

I don´t know, what to do.

Today i try your reason: I install AMP_r11 and testing the Files/Movies again. I´ll be back. 8-)

P.S. With MKV Files there are NO Problems with Audio/Video sync

There you go. As a temporary workaround, use MP4Box to demux the audio/video and remux using Mkvmerge.
That way it will work while you are waiting for someone more skilled to help you.
Ary you sure it's not your TV playing tricks on you?
