I tried all of this.
Ping on 192.168.0.9 is ok.
After the telnet connection pops up this:
Venus login: root
/usr/bin/stopall
login: cannot set groups: No such file or directory

Any other idea?

one idea - your player lost /usr/local/etc :( One way - goes to shop and buy the TTL cable . And erase -m in Realtek monitor. See viewtopic.php?f=12&t=78

So I joined TTL cabel to my HDP-R1 and loaded HD2 firmware. I want use original ASUS firmware. But after upload it does not work. Where's the problem? I used boot-code 23. Should I use another?

So I did it. Player finally working now. But I have used original firmware,
because version HD2 1.12.06rev4 still cannot sort files alfabetically in EXT3 system,
but the original can.
In Opera is not possible to switch the address bar on HDP-R1, there is not even search engine,
so usage is controversial too.
I hope I'll wait to see too. Good luck.
