Stream media from Windows 7 PC

Any idea how we can stream media content from a Windows 7 PC to the ASUS HD2 having it on the same wired network?
This is the main reason why I have bought this box and not for using it only as a NAS.

Try to use O!Direct, or DLNA via Windows Media Player 12

Thanks but apparently the o!Direct does not work well in Windows 7. I could get the PIN box for the first time but I mostly get Command Time out -with an hex code or 'No device found on network'
I have the firewall disabled and no anti-virus installed yet. The computer belongs to home group and when I search for available devices under the sharing option I don't see the ASUS.
