Can we install this FW in our Asus, or it needs modifications?

No it needs modifications for R1 and R3, only if you have a HD2 you can install this one.

It's the V01.11.04, so i guess it's not much different then the V1.11.03b we using now.

I'll keep on checking when they do the next release, most of the time they do a new one every 10-12 days.
But now they released their first "final" i don't know if they will updates or beta's very often
didn't look at this V01.11.04, but i think the enabled online update also...but i will check

Hi Farvoice,

Can you give the link of the firmware HD2 V.1.11.03b that you uploaded before the update of nov 08 2010?

The firmware v1.11.03 that you uploaded before the update of 8 nov 2010 is more stable in my asus oplay HD1 but I erased it of my laptop.

Thanks!!!

Together with the firmware v.11.01.03 leaked program O!Direct - send files from Windows File manager to play on the O!Play.
The program works under XP and W7 32 bit. On W7 64-bit program is installed and running, but in Windows File manager context menu does not appear command line to play the file on the player.
Plays all video files (BD *. m2ts file from a folder STREAM, DVD - not, *. iso I did not try), and music. Photo did not work.

Unzip and run Setup. The program creates a folder ASUS / O! PLAY in her two programs from O! Play and Server, start automatically in the background programs after installation.
When you connect to the player with O!Direct at first time, you must enter to the program 4 numbers (active code), which are displayed on the TV screen.
Attention! The program works with firmware version 1.11.03 only. Do not forget to open access in the Firewall.

All,

Is it normal that when I login with telnet and after entering root the following message appears: "warning: cannot change to home directory"?

Keep up the good work!

HD2 V1.11.03B sucessfully installed on my HDP-R3. However,I have the following problem:

1. Timezone: Undable to change timezone, popup window trying to connect NTP but not sucessful.
2. NAS and FTP: NAS can be turned on from menu, but I am not able to access attached eSATA HDD from my PC. FTP cannot turn on together with NAS.
3. moService on HD2: I installed latest moService. By default, moService core, rootapp, ftp daemon is running. FTP can be connected to the player but only "/" and "D" show up but cannot change directory, so I couldn't do anything. Then I installed embedded SAMBA daemon, it cannot be set to "active"; so I removed it and installed SAMBA 3.0.23c, this one can set to active. However I still couldn't map drive to the player.

Also I tried v1.11.04, it is worse.

Rolled back to FW1.21N for R3 and everything is fine.

Hi all,

does the latest version of v.1.11.03b support Wifi?
In Jarre's version I have to connect manually by entering the WAP key after each shutdown, that's annoying...

thanks
