P.S. If you have usb 2.0 Y cable with your disk use this one.

On USB 4TB diskdrive doesn't work.

Thanks for your test. Good to know that it fails on USB. I don't have a Y-cable. Do you also use a Y-cable for your test?

I think I understand that this Seagate 5TB in its original form has no chance on the O!play. :-(

As said, virtual, I don't like to open the box due to guaranty.

It may be time for a new play. H.265 and 2160p are also nice things. Someone can recommend one mediabox like O!play? Small, smart, fast and simple to use?

I don't know about pleers with H.265 and it's not topic of this forum.
If you want to change your pleer see this one - Iconbit HDS73D. It has usb3 and esata.
